How does it work?
Our curcumin supplement with 6% 1800mg all natural curcumin is created using Swiss Mycell Enhanced Technology. The curcumin compounds in the oil are coated with a layer of microscopic balls of molecules which have a core that has an affinity to fat and oil and an exterior with an affinity to water.
These spheres are nano lipids (micelles) and simply put, allow the oil to dissolve in water. The process could also be referred to as emulsion in water. Each of these tiny spheres is roughly 20-30 nanometres and are made of phospholipids.
This scientific approach to curcumin means that when you add it to water it is absorbed significantly faster by your body, expediting the desired effects. Once you’ve drunk the mixture, it starts to absorb in your mouth and will quickly pass into your bloodstream.
Unlike other supplements where you may only absorb 5% of the advertised concentration, this technology means you absorb up to 99% of the curcumin you’ve paid for. By making curcumin water soluble, it doesn’t have to pass through your digestive system or liver, where most of it would be metabolised and lost.
